Bench Bucket Seats. It is true that most bench seats have some sort of console type thing in the back of the jump seat you can use once it’s folded down, but it doesn’t really compare to an actual solid center one, in that sense at least. Split bench seat this is one of the most common layouts.

Hey, i recently purchased a 1997 ford courier single cab that has a bench seat and i'm looking to convert it to bucket seats. Bench seats are usually just flat backs and flat bottoms with no real contours like bucket seats provide. Really noticeable on long drives more than running around town but either way my own preference is definitely a bucket seat for comfort and a feel of connection with a vehicle. The 40/20/40 bench seats are just more comfortable in my opinion and feel like a premium seat whereas the buckets don't seem to support as well.
